ESOS & other Climate Change Policies

UK climate change policies include the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC), Climate Change Agreements (CCA), EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and mandatory company reporting.

However, the eligibility requirements and scope of energy and emission reporting varies across these schemes and ESOS is different in placing a greater emphasis on the identification of energy saving opportunities.

If you are a participant in other schemes, energy data collated can be utilised to comply with ESOS so avoiding the duplication of compliance efforts.
