Experienced Energy Manager, having most recently been employed in this role as a University Energy Manager for the past 12 years, as well as holding operational management responsibilities. Prior to this, John spent 12 years working as an Energy Conservation Engineer for a local authority and has also held a range of engineering and maintenance positions within the health sector. John is therefore our public sector expert and can genuinely be said to have had a career long active interest in energy conservation resulting in performance improvement. An engineer by trade, John has the knowledge base to complement his unrivalled experience.

An experienced former senior manager within a construction industry environment and most recently Assistant Director-Environment at a top performing university. Experience as Head of Facilities and Estates, responsible for numerous new capital buildings and major infrastructure improvement projects. This has included supporting the design and development of an entire new university campus, as well as management of the procurement, modification, maintenance and retirement of buildings for multi-site operations. Denis is adept at managing significant change, including policy and people development. Experience covers all corporate environmental issues, measurement, control and development of environmental management systems. Denis is a Charted Engineer (MCIBSE) and postgraduate degree qualified, with a background in mechanical engineering.
